And That’s a Wrap!
The St George’s Art Exhibition for 2024 has officially concluded, and all the layouts have been safely moved into storage.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited and helped out! We welcomed nearly 800 visitors to the exhibition. Over the two weeks, we had a steady stream of people to chat with, most of whom left with a brief history of Gravesend West, a few leaflets about our exhibitions, and even a chocolate treat if they won one of Adam’s mini-games!
We were honoured by a visit from the Deputy Mayor of Gravesham, participated in a radio interview, and made significant progress on the scenery of Gravesend West. I’ve also put together a YouTube video showcasing the exhibition, which you can watch below.
A big thank you to everyone who helped set up, run the trains, engaged with the public, or simply kept us company over the past two weeks.
Now, it’s time for a well-deserved break and some layout maintenance before the exhibitions start again in November:
